Our original members convened around a table at the Marlborough Head public house (also one of Mike Hawthorn's favourite haunts) Many of our original members remember him doing a talk on road safety at the local schools only weeks before his fatal crash just off the Hog's Back. 

it was decided back in the day to start a charity that very much helped local people in need.

We help all sorts of organisations and individuals in and around the Farnham area. We've helped, specialist schools as well as single parent mothers. It may be hard to believe sometimes, as a resident of leafy Farnham, but you only need to scratch the surface to realise - especially in today's current economic climate - there a lot's of normal people really struggling in our area. From single parent mothers to families caring for elderly relatives, less abled individuals, and specialist providers of care and respite.

We've also been known to organise donations for the homeless and distribute aid to rough sleepers in inner London.
